ABOUT
Fraser Valley Pickleball provides well-organized, skill rated tournaments in the Lower Mainland area of British Columbia.
In 2014 a group of Pickleball players had a vision to provide competitive tournament play for all ages in the Fraser Valley and the BC Lower Mainland which resulted in the formation of Fraser Valley Pickleball (FVP). At that time there weren’t any Pickleball Canada sanctioned events available in the lower mainland, other than the National Championships, which at that time was held in Abbotsford. Four tournaments were organized in the first year which were very popular and well attended. Since then, other organizations have started hosting tournaments in the lower mainland and as a result, FVP is now focused on two major events; Battle of the Paddle, and indoor tournament and Pickle in the Park and outdoor event.
These tournaments:
-
Provide skill-rated events from 3.0 - 5.0
-
Offer Doubles, Mixed Doubles and occasionally singles events.
-
Are sanctioned by Pickleball Canada (PCO)
-
Follow International Federation of Pickleball (IFP) rules
-
Award medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
